Hi fiber friends!

We are Becky & Yasmine, co-owners of Oakmont Yarn Co. We are so happy to welcome you into our shop!

We met because our daughters go to school together, then discovered our mutual love of fiber crafts. As stay-at-home-moms at the time, we started talking about our ideal jobs. Low and behold, we both wanted the challenge of running a small business. The idea for OYC was born!

We both started off as beginner crafters way back when and remember the feeling of walking into a new craft store for the first time. That nervous feeling of "am I good enough to be here" was familiar to us both. Making OYC a welcoming and nurturing space for crafters of all ability levels, ages, genders, and races became our number one goal.
